The most efficient Administration ever…

March 31st, 2009

…when it comes to making the most out of a crisis. “Hurry! Pass the stimulus bill NOW or the world economy will sail over a tall Cornwall cliff in spectacular fashion. There is no time to lose”.  So they did and we sighed a sigh of relief. Then minutes late the halfwit in chief  suddenly decided the economic situation was not that bad. Indeed.

Three weeks, and one corporate lynching later things have gotten desperate again. Suddenly the only way we can once again retreat from the clif is to give the tax cheat Timmy and the Obama Administration power to seize any financial entity beyond banks, and we need to do it NOW.

So now we are not only moving away from the cliff but we are back in the Prius heading to town to eat some tofu. Right? Well you’re wrong.  Apparently the latest and greatest plan to lead us from the cliff is to Socialize medicine. A plan which only Obama, his cabinet and the bambots believe should be implemented now.  Nancy Pelosi seems to think so. This week  she admitted  the house will consider a bill regarding government controlled health care.  If you’re keeping a tally that is government control of all financial related industries and government controlled health care. That’s a lot of work in a short period of time.  Add to that Obama now hiring and firing those at GM. The man who has never run anything in his life is now controlling General motors.

Never let a crisis go to waste.

It’s Geithnergate…

March 19th, 2009

Less than 75 days into his term President Obama has his first real scandal. Giethnergate and it involves not just Tax Cheat Timmy but the President, and Congressional Democrats. But first let’s start with Chris Dodd who is so corrupt even liberals in his state have turned against him. Fist he had nothing to do with the bill protecting the AIG bonuses. then he admitted he was indeed responsible for the clause in the bill. Today however he put the blame on the President. Word has leaked that tomorrow Chris Dodd will blame his Grandmother and next week his pastor…

Then we have Tax cheat Timmy. I am not sure how many times he has changed his story. The latest I believe is he has now admitted he instructed Dodd to include the loophole. Quite a change from he earlier denial. So who knew what and when? No doubt we have many options to choose from.

And these clowns want to run our Health care?

Another one bites the dust…

March 10th, 2009

Charles Freeman is the latest to bow out. At this point I have to wonder is it because of possible scandals, conflicts on interest and the usual sticking points that the Administration prefers to overlook or is it because these nominees have seen the movie Titanic….

Freeman who was supposed to be chairman of the National Intelligence Council may have seen the irony behind the word Intelligence.Especially since the “reset” debacle this week. Seriously how can you gowrong when you steal the idea from a successful company? Ever see the Office Depot “easy button” commercials? Apparently Hillary hasn’t.

So no not only is Tax Cheat Timmy flying solo but the NIC is flying blind. Perhaps President Obama could entice Mr. Freeman back with some free DVD’s…

Michael Steele’s first task

March 2nd, 2009

Michael Steele needs to forget about trivial things such as arguing with Rush Limbaugh and get to work. The first thing he needs to do is have a word with Senator Mitch McConnell about the 75 million dollars in earmarks he has in the omnibus spending bill about to be voted on  by Congress. He has been going after the Democrats for their wasteful spending so he looks like a bit of a hypocrite. Thee are the kind of thing that got the GOP the boot in 2006.

Stand up Mr. Steele and walk the walk. Anyone can talk the talk. Our Republicans in Congress obviously can’t and you were elected to show them the way. Do it.

13 dollars of arrogance….

February 12th, 2009

So the whole idea behind the stimulus bill is to stimulate the eeconomy without the help of the American people. It’s common sense that in order for the economy to improve, that is to realize a net gain the purchasing public needs to spend money. So the Democrat party has decided that out of the $790 billion we each get $13 dollars a week. That’s 13 of your dollars the government is willing to give you out of $790 billion. How generous. How arrogant.

No. This Isn’t a Bipartisan bill…

February 7th, 2009

No matter how often the media says so. No matter how much water Chris Mathews carries for President Obama The Democrat Party and their President own this stimulus bill. President Obama’s best argument for the bill is “I won”. If that is true why did he spend so much time trying to get the Republicans? Where did all his political capital go? Early yesterday Harry Reid boasted that he had enough votes to pass the Stimulus Package. If that was so why did Obama have to go to Virginia and throw a wobbler? He stamped his little feet, poked fun at Republicans and laid on a thick varnish of fear. That isn’t leadership. This bill is almost a trillion dollars. Just saying it will create jobs doesn’t quell the fear.

If this is such a dire situation and this bill needs to be passed now why was Obama out on the town Friday night instead of at the White House in constant contact  with Harry Reid? So far Obama has phoned in his Presidency and it shows.  He has saddled his party with a huge albatross. Two actually. He has handed power over to Nancy Pelosi and he has not bothered to lead.

This is YOUR bill President Obama. Even if you didn’t write it.

He just doesn’t get it

February 6th, 2009

Tonight President Obama headed to Virginia to attend a Democrat retreat to beg whine, and scoff for his stimulus plan. I found it a bizarre scene. There is Barrack Obama thanking Nancy Pelosi for her hard work on the bill when she is the one who stuffed it with every Liberal pet project possible. She is why it failed to garner any Republican support in the House and why virtually all Republicans in the Senate are prepared to vote against it.

Why was here speaking, nay begging to Democrats? He has the votes needed according to Harry Ried. He continues with the theme of desperation and oncoming disaster and demands the bill be passed now, and there is no time for debate. All the while he is claiming he is open to ideas and bi partisan discussion. The public isn’t buying it and all he rhetoric about doing this for the people. They don’t want it and they don’t believe it will help the economy. Yet he keeps going on about every economist in the knowm world sayin this is the right and only way. However Obama does not make the distinction between stimulating the economy and pork barrel spending.

He couldn’t help reverting back to the same old tired liberal talking points. the temptation was just too great. He continued to rail against the Bush Administration and warned that the same old tactics will not work. What Obama fails ro realize is that stuffing a bill full of pork and money for special interest groups is the old way of doing things and is why the GOP lost the majority.

Instead of fear mongering and outright lying he should buckle down, actually read the bill, and stick to his campaign promises. Cut out the pork, deliver true tax cuts And stop with the whining. he is the President and should begin acting like one.

More at Stake Than Bee Insurance…

February 5th, 2009

Could it be dear reader that the evil and downtrodden GOP is gaining favor with the voting public? after eight years of impotent leadership and runaway spending the party that has been declared dead more often than disco is making a comeback. And it owes it all to Barack Obama for Obama it seems not only wants to emulate Lincoln but Bill Clinton as well.

It Was Clinton whose appointees had tax issues and it was also Clinton who had his Economic Stimulus plan thrown back in his face. All this set the stage for 1994. Fast forward 14 years and Obama seems determined to out do Clinton.  Three tax cheat appointees and a stimulus package that dwarfs Clinton’s in a Yao Ming sort of way…

Never underestimate Obama’s competitiveness.

The main complaint about GOP leadership during the last eight years has been the freight train spending, and the increase in the size of Government. Throw in a few scandals a medium sized Macaca and you end up with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and a President with less experience than a High School shop teacher.

Enter the suddenly Conservative Republican party.

Obama’s continues to defend the Stimulus plan Nancy Pelosi wrote and Barack has not read. Meanwhile his speechwriters continue to punch out sound bytes for him to tell us that we as a nation will cease to exist on Tuesday if we do not pass this Stimulus package. Here I though it was the Conservatives that were fear mongers.  Obama is attempting to scare everyone into supporting this bill but the people seem to have woken up after blindly following the Liberal pied piper.

The argument is Obama’s (Pelosi’s) stimulus plan should pass because Obama is just so damn popular and gosh darn it people like him.  Well that argument is proving to be false as less and less people support the bill. When it comes to peoples pocket book the Presidents popularity is a moot point. A bad bill is a bad bill. Instead of trying to fix a bill that is unfix-able the GOP should draft their own that dealss with nothing but tax cuts, the housing crisis, and unemployment.

Obama refuses to cut the size of the bill and remove the pork. Something he promised would not be in the bill at the beginning. this has become Obama’s Iraq. Every time he opens his mouth the bill gets more and more unpopular and the GOP is reaping the rewards.

A New Error in Responsibility

February 2nd, 2009

Sadly after two weeks in office Barack Obama has proven to be the vapid, empty suit we all thought but hoped wouldn’t be. His lack of any real ideas on how to stimulate the economy was to be expected. His ignoring the obvious steps that need to  be taken, tax cuts is also not a surprise. Sadly all the rhetoric about a New era in responsibility was simply just that. Rhetoric. We got our first clue when Bill Richardson and his beard abruptly removed himself from consideration for Secretary of Commerce. Not to be outdone he chose Timothy Giethner who is supposedly the smartest man in the world of economics to navigate us deeper into a recession. When it was revealed that Giethner did not pay taxes but accepted reimbursement for those taxes Obama stood by his man. Not to be out done once more he is now standing by Tom Daschle who forgot to pay $128,000 and didn’t bother to pay them after he “learned” of his “mistake”. He did however correct the “mistake” afterbeing chosen by Obama to ruin the health care system.

How is this change? How is this a new tone in Washington? How is Obama doing anything different than what has been done in Washington for decades? The man who cheated the FED is now running the FED. the man who supposed to revamp out health care system does not know how to pay his taxes. For us the every day citizen this is a crime. For a member of Obama’s team it is a absolute boon. Did President Obama really have a vetting process or was that “just words”?

A Fresh Face At Last…

January 31st, 2009

Finally the GOP and the Conservative base have a fresh face to lead us out of the wilderness. Michael Steele the former Lt. Governor of the Liberal state of Maryland has become the Chairman of the Republican party. So has the party turned the page? Well they chose Steele over George Bush’s hand picked selection Mike Duncan. A DC insider. Aside from his sting as Lt. Governor he is as far from being a DC man as Hugo Chavez, but with better dress sense.

Slowly the GOP is shedding it’s image of a group of has beens that could of but didn’t really try for a group of young, dynamic, energized idealogues. Palin, Jindal, Pawlenty, and now Michael Steele. So what does Steele bering to the table?

Asside from his Conservative credentials he is genial, a good speaker and well liked. When he talks of Conservaatism he soeaks clearly and passionately. Steele Gets it and the people get it when he speaks. He’s not from DC so when he talks of Conservative values people tend to not roll their eyes and gaze at their watches. Steele bring some excitement to a very downtrodden movement. Just at the right time as the Democrats are moving swiftly to erode our rights
